More about us...
We have seen no
damage to exposed from either handling or radiation.
Safe Shipping
We asked Federal Express, United Parcel Service and the US Postal Service for advise on how to ship
photographic film to us. Fed Ex specifically said they do not
X-ray packages or use other equipment that will harm light sensitive materials. UPS said it was safe ship unprocessed
photographic film in their system and recommended that the package be labeled "Photographic Film - Do Not X-ray". The USPS was less responsive but our local postal union official told
us that unofficially it is safe to ship photographic film in the US mails. In fact, we receive shipments from all these plus Airborne Express and others.
Return Shipping
We use Priority Mail as our
default shipping method. We can ship back using the above
shippers if you request it. If you include your account number
we will ship back to you using your account.
Ship Direct
We noticed that pro photographers would like us to ship orders directly to their
clients. Now we can do it! We do not ship negs to clients (unless you instruct us in writing) and we do not
bill them or include any billing information. Orders are triple checked for
spotting and accuracy. We bill photographer for shipping (using Priorty Mail
unless you specify otherwise) and a $3.95 - $5.95 per shipment handling fee. Price depends on size and weight of the final order. Please
include all shipping info in writing with your order.
An easy way to avoid delays is to take an extra step to
making a packing list. The packing list should include everything you are
enclosing to us. Send us a copy. That makes it easy for you to check
yourself and easy for us to find everything.
